🖥️ Job Overview:

Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring IT Resident Engineers to support its enforcement stations across Punjab. This hybrid technical and administrative role involves managing IT infrastructure and operational coordination to ensure seamless functioning of enforcement stations.

Multiple vacancies are available in various districts and tehsils of Punjab.


🎓 Educational Requirements:

Minimum 16 years of education in any of the following fields from a HEC-recognized institution:

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Software Engineering

  • Computer Engineering

  • Networking or any related discipline

  • Higher qualifications such as MS/MPhil in relevant fields will be preferred.

💼 Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in management and IT services in a reputable organization

  • Minimum 1 year in a public sector role preferred

  • Experience in SECP-registered or officially regulated private firms will also be considered.


🛠️ Core Responsibilities:

IT & Technical Support

  • Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, scanners, and other hardware

  • Install, configure, and manage software and network solutions

  • Coordinate with vendors for tech support and system upgrades

  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation

Administrative Support

  • Prepare and manage duty rosters and staff schedules

  • Draft correspondence, notings, letters, and official communications

  • Maintain records, manage petty cash, and handle vendor billing

  • Support enforcement station operations with admin, finance, and procurement duties

  • Liaise with external service providers (internet, electricity, landlords, courier)

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare periodic IT performance and administrative reports

  • Coordinate between enforcement stations, head office, and external departments


🧠 Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Noting/drafting skills for government communications

  • Knowledge of admin and financial procedures

  • Vendor and records management

  • Familiarity with public sector documentation


📍 Location:

Vacancies are available across all districts and tehsils of Punjab. Candidates should be willing to work in field offices and enforcement stations as assigned.
