Job Description:
By the Vision, Purpose, Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority ( Island Health), patient and staff safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Organize the patient menus to ensure accuracy of diet orders, timeliness of meal service, and smooth food service operations. Responsible for the production of meal tickets, nourishment labels, and production tallies for patient menus. Responds to interdepartmental telephone inquiries, maintain all office equipment, and supply inventory for the nutrition office.
Grade 12 plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Completion of Level 2 Food Safe program.
